Can I make updates to the site myself?
Yes, absolutely. By using the extremely powerful but easy to use WordPress CMS adding posts, pages, images, videos etc is do-able for anyone who has learnt how to use Facebook or Microsoft Word. In other words, the vast majority of people who are reading this!
How will can I let you know how I want my site designed?
We are Perth based and so we can certainly meet face-to-face initially to discuss your site’s needs. If you are not in the Perth area, we can communicate via email, or if necessary by phone / Skype. As the progress through the process communication will be done (wherever possible) via email which enables us to keep our prices as affordable as possible.
We have a set of questions we will ask you and from your answers we will get an overview and piece together a concept, which we will discuss with you. Once we have your feedback we will put together the site (or a mock up for large sites) for final tweaks before we go live!
What do I get for $20 per month?
Our website packages include a $20 per month fee which covers the your site’s hosting, domain registration and email accounts. What the $20 per month does not provide for is making changes to your site or adding new functions. We would be happy to do this for you and that would be at our regular rate of $100/hr.
How long is the $20 per month contract for?
Upon signing up, the $20 per month period is for 12 months. After that you can cancel at anytime should you wish to.
What are your payment arrangements?
We accept Visa, MasterCard through Paypal. We also accept direct bank deposits. Payment is due upon ordering. Your site will be ready to add content to within 21 days, usually much sooner. At the checkout we will setup the monthly recurring $20 subscription.
What if I want you to make updates for me after the site is designed?
Our encouragement is for our clients to learn how to make changes to their sites themselves. With our video tutorials, you will find it is easy to add or remove pages, images, posts etc. However, if you want to stay hands off we can discuss arrangements for you to retain us to update and maintain your site month to month. After the site is completed, any further changes to your site will be charged at our regular rate of $100/hour.
